Biography

Jeremy took up his position as Manager of the Virology Team at Plant Health and Environment Laboratories (MPI) in February 2021. Before that, he was a senior researcher and lecturer at Cornell University in New York. Jeremy’s career in the public, private and academic sectors has also taken him to Europe to work on a range of topics related to different plant pathogens affecting a variety of cultivated crops both at fundamental and applied levels. Jeremy is an active contributor to International Committee on the Taxonomy of Viruses and editor for the journals Frontiers in Microbiology, Frontiers in Virology, Phytofrontiers, and Viruses.
